Welcome To Certification Specialists!

Certification Specialists is a boutique agency devoted to New York State teacher certification exams.  Since 2001 we have offered highly experienced, affordable tutors for New York State teacher certification exams.  We are proud to call the City University of New York and the New York City Department of Education our clients.  We currently assist private clients with the EAS, ATS-W (for safety-net credentialing only), CST Multi-Subject exams, and CST Students with Disabilities.  We also assist clients across the United States with the edTPA.

We offer private individual in-person tutoring in the greater New York City area as well as portions of the Southern Tier of New York State including Sullivan and Delaware counties.  Additionally we offer convenient, unique, and customized remote tutoring services to individuals and small groups using various video conferencing platforms.

We create and provide objectives-based preparation materials based on our meticulous research of these exams.  Our customized test preparation is tailored to each client’s individual needs and the specific challenges of each test. We help you understand what the test is really about and how to approach it.
